Lindsay Beaver is a powerhouse musician, singer, and songwriter known for her raw, soulful vocals and electrifying performances. Blending blues, country, rock ‘n’ roll, and soul, she delivers a sound that is both timeless and unmistakably her own. With a voice often compared to Patsy Cline, Etta James, Kitty Wells, Lindsay brings a fiery, emotional depth to every song she sings. Originally from Canada She started her career as the songwriting, leading singing, drummer for Juno Nominated The 24th Street Wailers with whom she toured with and won two maple blues awards for drummer of the year. She then went on to sign with Alligator Records on her own where she released her first solo album “Tough As Love’. Once she moved on from Alligator Lindsay moved from Drums to Guitar and began her current journey. She is now based in Austin, Texas, she has immersed herself in the city’s legendary music scene, becoming a standout artist in Americana, blues, country, and rock. She is a regular featured Performer at Antone’s, Gruene Hall, Continental Club, Cboys Heart and Soul. Austin’s deep musical roots have influenced her dynamic style, allowing her to craft songs that are both raw and deeply personal. Her songwriting draws from real-life experiences—love, loss, resilience, and hard-fought independence—bringing authenticity to every lyric.
Over the years, Lindsay has worked with some of the biggest names in the blues and roots music world, including Gary Clark Jr., Jimmie Vaughan and many more. Her collaborations and performances alongside these legendary artists have only solidified her reputation as a force to be reckoned with. Lindsay faced heavy loss in her personal life and then her new home when beloved Austin fixture Sam Greyhorse with whom she lived, was destroyed in a fire. Despite this tragedy, she continues to push forward, channeling her experiences into music that speaks to the resilience of the human spirit. Now, in 2025, Lindsay is taking the next step in her artistic journey—making her first solo country and songwriter record. This project marks a new chapter, highlighting her evolution as a songwriter and her deep connection to the classic country, honky-tonk, and folk traditions that have always influenced her. With a sound that bridges the past and present, her upcoming record is set to be her most personal and expressive work yet.
